WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF MY ARITHMOS BODY OIL?
Every Arithmos product has a product label on the bottom of the bottle which states when the product is made. The typical shelf life of our products is 18 months after the production date. We recommend using your Arithmos body oil within nine months after opening the bottle to enjoy our products at their peak potency.
ARE YOUR ARITHMOS BODY OILS SAFE FOR PREGNANCY?
All of our products are made with plant-based and essential oils in concentrations that are reasonably safe for pregnancy and lactation. However, as every pregnancy can be different, we highly recommend speaking with your doctor for more specific advice.
DO YOU ADD ANY FRAGRANCES TO ARITHMOS’ BODY OILS?
We do not add any artificial fragrances into our products. The scents you smell come naturally from the plant-based oils, and are testament to the freshness and quality of the ingredients we use.
CAN I USE ARITHMOS BODY OILS ON MY FACE?
We do not recommend using Arithmos’ body oils to be used as a facial product because of the high percentage of essential oil dilution. Generally speaking, the essential oil dilution rate for most face products is around 0.5%, Arithmos’ body oils have an essential oil dilution rate of up to 1%.
ARE ARITHMOS’ BODY OILS SUITABLE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES?
Arithmos’ body oils are safe to use for most skin types, unless you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients. Unsure? Perform a patch test by applying a tiny amount of the product on the inside of your elbow. Observe if any redness, itching or irritation occurs within 24 hours of the patch test. If any of the above symptoms appear, do not use the product.
WHAT CAN ARITHMOS’ BODY OILS DO FOR MY SKIN WITH DAILY APPLICATION?

Arithmos’ body oils are formulated with plant-based oils including 99% certified organic ingredients. These plant-based oils are packed with naturally-occuring essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants which help improve the appearance of any visible signs of ageing, improve skin elasticity, strengthen the skin’s protective barrier and keep skin hydrated.
WHEN SHOULD I APPLY MY ARITHMOS BODY OIL?
After a warm shower or hot bath. Pat dry your skin and massage your body oil of choice into skin until absorbed.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LOTION AND OIL?
Oils act as an emollient, softening skin while forming a protective barrier over skin to keep moisture in and harmful allergens or irritants out. Lotions are water-based and are able to permeate deeper into skin, delivering ingredients like hyaluronic acid, which helps skin better retain moisture.

Arithmos believes that beauty should be cruelty free. We are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved. A global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements.
All of our own brand personal care products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also
independently audited.
